Creating Renditions

A rendition is a representation of a file published to another format. You can publish renditions from one or more files in a document. The default rendition formats are PDF, TIFF image, and ASCII text file. If needed, the administrator can configure the system to include a watermark on each rendition.

Note: To create a rendition, the following must be true:

The Rendition Service must be enabled for this community. This is done by the administrator in AssetWise System Management Console.
You must have permission to modify the document that contains the original file, because the new rendition will be added to that document.
